"On 18-20 October 2018, the Sharing Vision Workshop took place at the Castel Film Studio outside Bucharest. The event was organized by Prof. Alexandru Sterian, who taught at the UNATC Film College and for many years was the Chairman of the Romanian Cinematography Society, and Petru Rotar GF of Lights-up, Arri Dealer for Romania and Moldova.In addition to Masterclass speakers Manuel Alberto Claro-DFF and Hans Pfleiderer of the ARRI System Group, Sales Manager Koray Enlioglu and representatives of the camera departments of ARRI, Sony and Canon participated with their latest film cameras.
On the first day Hans Pfleiderer presented his masterclass with the title Aesthetics and Technology in Entertainment Lighting
and Koray Enlioglu gave a workshop on the subject Lighting Control App Stellar and wireless networks with ARRI-Skylink, The audience was composed of professional cameramen, gaffer and film students.
On the second day DP Manuel Claro spoke and afterwards the team organized a hands-on workshop. For the lighting they used ARRI Skypanel in the versions S360-C, S60-C, L7-C and M18 HMI. The scenes played by participants were recorded in a shootout with all three cameras and compared in a post-production grading session. The new Arri Alexa LF was by far the best camera.
The Sharing Vision Workshop was a great success and more events of this kind will follow. "
